Thanks to Creature Comforts, for some very cute, free PDFs for Shopping Lists and Notes. Just what I need to start getting organized. I think I’ll print them up, cut them to size and magnet a stack to the front of my fridge with a Magnetic Bulldog Clip.

Rag & Bone handmade blank journals are extraordinarily beautiful. Made with deckle edges and filled with bright white paper, weight toothy stock that should handle any writing tool you try. Cover options range from graphic cotton prints to dupioni silks. 6”x9”. $29 each.
Planning to renovate or decorate your workspace? Start with a good desk and build from there. This Eames desk from DWR is a favorite of mine and would be the perfect foundation for a quirky mid-century-inspired work space. Check out the full Desk Extravaganza onĀ Design Sponge.
I have been following the progress of Rickshaw Bags for about a year or so now and I’m just thrilled to pass along information about this feisty little company out of San Fransisco. They started out making messenger bags but really started to draw attention when they turned their focus to Moleskine Folios. These creations are zippered cases designed to fit the standard (large) 5” x 8.25” Moleskine notebooks. With slots for pens and pockets for scraps and business cards, these cases are the perfect way to personalize, protect and enhance your Moleskine.
Rickshaw is working on a Pocket Folio for the smaller 3.5” x 5.5” sized books. While the cover no longer makes the book “pocketable”, it will fit nicely in a backpack, purse or briefcase. I have a soft spot for the Pocket Moleskine so I’m actually quite intrigued by the new Pocket Folio.
Rickshaw is also working on a backpack design and now have a build-your-own option for all their products on their website. With over 100 fabric options to choose from, you’ll have a hard time choosing just one. Every item is built-to-own and made in San Francisco.
I bought my first Moleskine Folio last night so I’ll definitely be doing a follow-up when it arrives. For those interested, I also got a Pipsqueak bag which mount on bicycle handlebars — for the really “mobile office”.
PS: We love Rickshaw Bags and Mark Dwight because he’s a total office supply junkie and Moleskine lover too!
