The Alex filing drawers from Ikea are almost as ubiquitous to the modern home office as the Parsons desk from West Elm. This photo shows that to really get some mileage out of this diminutive flat files, you need to line about three of them up as an office sideboard with infinite storage space.
FYI: The Alex drawers were designed to hold A2 paper (16.5 x 23.4 in) which can be a bit of a challenge to Americans accustomed to our Letter, Legal and Tabloid sheets.
