I’m sure many of you are kind of over my looking for brown inks that match this year’s Pantone color. But today I have an ink that was specifically designed to match it!
Endless Alchemy has just debuted Mocha Mousse Delight (45mL for $20), an ink designed around the color of the year. And it even features a coffee scent!
The ink itself is a warm brown shading ink, that leans just a smidge red. It fits in with all the other brown inks I’ve been reviewing – toasty warm shades like Caramel Macchiato and Gingerbread.
It does shade beautifully in a variety of nibs, though the ink splotches are just deep chocolate brown.
And I’ll be honest, I’m not generally a fan of scented inks, but as I wrote with this one I just got the barest hint of coffee, and it smelled good! The ink also dried fairly quickly, faster than most of the others I’ve tried of late.
Does it match the Pantone color? I don’t know that it’s an exact match, but I don’t think it’s bad. And I think at this point I’m ready to call the search off. If you’re into that warm brown shade, there are plenty of yummy ones to choose from!

Oh dang, I just ordered a bunch of inks and had this in my cart, but then was like, “Well, I have so many coffee-themed inks already…”
Adding it back for when I do another order. The pics I’d seen online of it I guess don’t do the shade justice because if I’d seen how warm and deep the brown, like 88% chocolate brown, I would’ve snatched it asap. I too am not a fan of scented, well, anything, but as long as it’s not overpowering, I’m cool with it.
Great review!
