The Chicago Planner Conference was a bounty of swag. So much so that I’d like to give TWO readers the chance to relive the conference vicariously through a swag bag.
I have sorted through all the swag and did my best to evenly distribute it all between two totes: a Chicago Planner Conference 2024 grey tote and a Happy Planner black cotton tote. Each will be filled with goodies. Maybe even a few Well-Appointed Desk extras too!
There are stickers, candles, decorative items for embellishing your planner or notebook, notepads, pens and so much more.
There is also a super soft, grey Chicago Planner Conference t-shirt that, if you wear a unisex medium, can be yours as well.
TO ENTER: Leave a comment below, tell me if you’ve ever been to a Planner Conference or if you would ever consider attending such an event. Play along and type in something. It makes reading through entries more interesting for me, okay? One entry per person.
If you have never entered a giveaway or commented on the site before, your comment must be manually approved by our highly-trained staff of monkeys before it will appear on the site. Our monkeys are underpaid and under-caffeinated so don’t stress if your comment does not appear right away. Give the monkeys some time.
FINE PRINT: All entries must be submitted by 10pm CST on November 19, 2024. All entries must be submitted at wellappointeddesk.com, not Twitter, Tumblr or Facebook, okay? Winner will be announced on Wednesday. Winner will be selected by random number generator from entries that played by the rules (see above). Please include your actual email address in the comment form so that I can contact you if you win. I will not save email addresses or sell them to anyone — pinky swear. If winner does not respond within 5 days, I will draw a new giveaway winner. Shipping via USPS first class is covered. Additional shipping options or insurance will have to be paid by the winner. We are generous but we’re not made of money. US and APO/AFO only, sorry.
that is a lot of stuff. I’ve never been to a planner conference tho i have lived vicariously through others that have 😛
I love pens, stationary, books, etc, and I always have a planner, but I’m not sure if I would go to a planner conference. I buy cheap planners because my journals are what I’ll keep. The planners get tossed or recycled. For the last few years I’ve been using cheap, spiral bound planners from BooQool. They’re bare bones planners but handle fountain pen ink better than some of the more expensive brands I’ve used (talking about you Moleskine and Leuchtturm) for less than $10US. It’s a Hyundai to Hobonichi’s Lexus.
Hi, thanks for a chance to win a swag bag – they look fun. I have never been to a planner convention – the closest thing I think was going to rubberstamp conventions. I went to many in the 90’s when rubberstamping was really big. There were alot of stores around too, which was fun. There’s nothing like browsing through the goodies in person.
I’ve never been to a planner conference and would be tempted if there was one locally. I tried keeping one once but spent too much time playing with supplies and less time actually doing anything I had “planned”. While I love the concept, my snarky side wonders about the obsession of a beautifully planned out life that is never actually lived…sort of how everyone’s life looks better on social media than it actually is. Remember the old-fashioned Christmas letters? I got one from my uncle once and, after reading it, thought this certainly can’t be the same boring family I share Christmas dinner with!
Oh, neat! I’ve never been to a planner conference, but if there was one in KC I’d want to check it out.
Gosh I’ve never been to a planner conference but I’d LOVE to! I’ve been to other book arts festivals and conferences, but never focused on planners!
I have been to the Ohio Pen Show and the St. Louis Pen Show. Both times I’ve gone by myself and felt a little lost. I would love to go to a pen show with someone who knows a little more than I do. 🙂
I would love to attend a conference like this. Well, I say I would love it, but then my inner introvert would come out swinging and I would decide not to go at the last minute.
But yeah, these look like really fun swag bags!
I’ve never been to a planner conference but if one was nearby, like Denver (don’t think there will ever be one in Wyoming) I would definitely check it out. Thanks for sharing your experience and hope you can go to more and report back.
Oh my gosh, those are amazing swag bags! I haven’t been to a planner conference, would love to attend if one were to pop up in St. Louis. Thanks for offering this giveaway!
I have never been to a planner conference but would love to go to one. After your post the other day, I immediately looked to see if there were any nearby. There’s one but out of my price range, alas.
I love all things planner and planning and think a conference like that would be such fun!
Thank you for sharing with your readers!
I have never been to a planner convention but the way you have been describing it and all that swag …
Sounds like it needs to be on my bucket list
Thanks for the review and a chance to win!
I’m tempted to go to this exact conference — Chicago native who now lives in Virginia and it seems like a great reason for a visit home.
I have never been to a planner conference, but I absolutely would love to. If there was one close and not too pricey.
Holy macaroni! It’s like a candy store for the brain! I haven’t been to a planner conference, but I think I would lose my mind with glee. I would just need to distract my family for awhile to go.
I’ve never been to a planner conference or even a pen show but I would love to go to one or both someday!
I have never been to a planner conference but would love to go. Thank you for the giveaway! Looks like a lot of fun stuff!
I’ve never attended a planner conference. I’m hoping there will be one in the future that is close to where I live. Thanks for the giveaway.
I’ve never been to a planner conference, but I’d love to go if one was lined up right before or after h+h! I don’t usually go to Chicago, but if all the conferences could be attended at once, I’d always go!
I have just learned about this and can’t wait to attend. Next year I hope. With these goodies my desk will be well appointed, and Ana, I beg you to include something from the funny but no wall!!!
I’ve never been to a planner conference but it sounds fun. I like that the Chicago one isn’t just about buying things. The speakers and workshops would be up my alley.
I have never been to a PLanner Conference, or a Pen show, and really like what sounds like an absence of FOMO at the Planner Conference.
I’ve never been to a planner conference. I didn’t know such a thing existed until I read your blog. I’d go if one was close. I spend so much time admiring other people’s pages and journal spreads while mine look like a bullet list of groceries needed. 😉
Gosh, so many interesting things in the pen universe. Definitely would hop on this planner spaceship just to see what this quadrant offered to an analog !
Never been to a planner conference and didn’t know they exist. Would I go? Absolutely!
If you asked me last year, I would have said no but I recently found the magic of customisable planners and the magic that is color coding my obligations. Three jobs, two kids, and I’m back in school. Then I might have started down that sticker rabbit hole. Still just a toe in on that side, but I love getting to mark up paydays 🙂 and bills 🙁 in ways that catch my eye. I imagine the vibes are very similar to a yarn festival and everything is so pretty your brain just melts down. Sign me up.
I have not been, but they sound so awesome I feel like I should add one to my list!
I have never been to a planner conference but am tempted now that I see what the swag is like. That’s a good haul!
I’ve never been to a planner conference, but I think I would go if there was one close enough to home. It sounds like a lot of fun!
I’ve never been to a planner conference; I’d be curious to check one out.
I would love to go to a planner conference! I’ve never been, but I’m close enough to Chicago… I love pens and stationery. The workshops sound like the best part! Maybe then I’d be inspired to do something with all my pretty blank books, instead of just petting their empty covers and putting them back on the shelf.
I’ve never been to a planner conference but would if it was within driving distance and fit into my schedule. All the markers and stickers and stamps and ink and paper makes my inner 5 year old squeal with glee and buy all the things. But once they’re home my much older self gets distracted by dishes and work and going to school and making my bed and flossing my teeth and all the things sit neglected in the drawer with the last round of stationery goodies.
I have never been to a planner conference, and honestly didn’t know it exists until I read your recent blog post. But I shared the post with my bestie and we are already planning to attend next year!
I would really love to go to the Chicago Planner Conference or Go Wild some day. There’s usually a group of St. Louis Planner Besties who go to CPC each year, and I’m sure they wouldn’t mind if I tagged along some year.
I have never attended a planner conference but would be curious! Might have to make a trip to Chi-town next year!
I have never been to a planner convention but it sounds interesting. I have been to other product conventions and you always learn something.
Thanks for the chance.
I have never been to a planner conference. Maybe someday, when the price is more manageable. I buy planners I can afford that I intend to use the entire year (big plus if they are the customizable notebooks), with the not-so-expensive pens that I enjoy especially as a lefty. So cool to read about this event and find some names I follow in both the planner and pen communities. Love the format of workshops and seminars, rather than it being simply a marketplace.
I absolutely would go to a planner conference! I had no idea they even existed. I stopped into Gentleman’s Stationer shop in Nashville this past week and got my very first travelers journal. This swag would do wonders for my stumbling baby deer steps into the community.
I have never been to a planner conference, but seeing the swag they give away it sure looks like something that would be loads of fun.
