Giveaway: Colorverse Colorspace Ink Art Cards

If you’re staring down a case of the Mondays, then I’ve got a fun giveaway for you. We recently received a package of Colorspace Size C Hubble cards, plus Colorspace B Swatch and Hubble Cards from Luxury Brands USA to share with you (more details at Colorverse Ink). If you remember, I tried out the Size C Hubble cards a while ago and they’re super fun!

Essentially these cards have space and ink themed wax designs on them. When you swatch with ink, those designs come to the forefront as they resist the ink. What a fun way to keep track of your inks!

So here’s the deal: I’ll select one lucky winner to receive all three packages shown above plus some swag from me. Ready to go?

TO ENTER: Leave a comment below and tell me what your favorite Colorverse ink is? If you don’t have a favorite Colorverse ink, then your favorite ink will do just fine! One entry per person.

If you have never entered a giveaway or commented on the site before, your comment must be manually approved by our highly-trained staff of monkeys before it will appear on the site (wouldn’t a monkey case have been fun???). Our monkeys are underpaid and under-caffeinated so don’t stress if your comment does not appear right away. Give the monkeys some time.

FINE PRINT: All entries must be submitted by 10pm CST on Friday, August 30, 2024. All entries must be submitted at wellappointeddesk.com, not Twitter, Tumblr or Facebook, okay? Winner will be announced on Monday. Winner will be selected by random number generator from entries that played by the rules (see above). Please include your actual email address in the comment form so that I can contact you if you win. I will not save email addresses or sell them to anyone — pinky swear. If winner does not respond within 5 days, I will draw a new giveaway winner. Shipping via USPS first class is covered. Additional shipping options or insurance will have to be paid by the winner. We are generous but we’re not made of money. US and APO/AFO only, sorry.

DISCLAIMER: The items included in this giveaway were provided to us free of charge by Luxury Brands USA. Please see the About page for more details.

  1. I haven’t tried any of the Colorverse inks, so I do T have a favorite of them. But a recent favorite is the Jacaranda color from last year’s Diamine Inkvent calendar. It’s just a lovely shade of lavendary-purple (and I’m not generally a purple preferring person).

  2. Oh, it’s a tie! I love ColorVerse Redwood Forest and Min Hwa Dan Hong, which is an almost-perfect red. The teeny mini bottles make refills such a challenge. Time to get swatching!

  3. I haven’t tried any Colorverse inks, but I’ve really been enjoying Monteverde’s Iced Cookie lately. But if I had to choose, I’m a big fan of blue-black inks.

  4. I’m often reaching for green or purple but I love Colorverse Jupiter Flyby when it goes through it’s color shift as it dries

  5. Love all these spectacular colors, but I’m a BLUE girl at heart, so I’m picking COTTON BLUE as my favorite! Today. Tomorrow I might change my mind! 🙂

  6. The first time I saw Mystic Mountain I was awestruck by it’s unusual shimmer and lamented it was the small bottle. Needless to say I then pre-ordered the big ones! 😀

  7. Lately I like 화성 [Hwaseong Fortress] / 060 = it’s green, it’s grey, it’s brown … it’s beautiful.

  8. I don’t have any Colorverse inks right now, but Monkeyhead Nebula has been on my wish-list for ages! I just haven’t pulled the trigger on it yet as I have a plethora of inks! My current fav is Vinta Lakbay. Just LOVE that red shimmer over the light blue. I think it’s stunning.

  9. I have not tried any of the colorverse inks (yet) but I have been very happy with the Oxford Blue from Diamine. It definitely needs the right paper, but the color is fantastic and the sheen comes through sometimes and it is not overwhelming.

  10. I haven’t tried Colorverse but I love some of the names they come up with for their inks. I like to use a variety of inks but one I often reach for is J. Herbin Lierre Sauvage ink.

  11. I am slowly collecting ink but Colorverse hasn’t made it to my ink box yet! They all have creative names. My favorite ink is any purple ink. Diamine Imperial Purple is inked now but it’s waiting for Diamine Tyrian purple that doesn’t look all that purple to me!

  12. I haven’t tried any Colorverse inks yet either, but most of my favorites tend to be in the blue or blue-black family. It’s tough to pick a single favorite, but I guess I’ll go with the bottle of FPR blue-black that I finished a few years ago.

  13. I love Colorverse Pillars of Creation and Crab Nebula. They’re almost inverses of each other — Crab Nebula is a dark green with a strong dark purple sheen, and Pillars of Creation is a dark purple with a strong dark green sheen. At least one is always in my rotation in a medium-nibbed Pelikan m101N or similar juicy pen.
