While I was at the Pacific Northwest Pen Show, I picked up a few items to share with you, my lovely readers. I will be giving away all the items shown below to ONE lucky winner, drawn at random from commenters who play by the rules (details below).
From Ink-a-Pet we are including the new Ink-a-Pet coloring book which includes some “somewhat familiar” locales as well as some of the Ink-a-Pet critters in their natural habitats. If Rickshaw hadn’t already made a St. Louis flag sleeve fort he StL show, then that would be my pick. Since that’s already on the books though…
A lot of state flags are hot garbage, so city flags are more fertile ground. The Wichita flag is a really good one. It is also conveniently nestled at the #6 spot in a ranking of best city flags in the US, right between the (already-available-from-Rickshaw) St Louis and Portland flags!
Colorado would be a good option. Or the city of Denver. As flags go, both are winners (and we oddly really love the state flag in Colorado. It’s on everything, including custom Subaru badges).

I decided to try both – I don’t know what city flags look like off the top of my head, and apparently my city doesn’t have one, but Charlotte NC’s flag looks a lot like Scotland’s so that’s kind of neat. For an ink a pet I would love a llama or alpaca, or maybe a badger!

My vote is for the state of Hawaii flag as the next Rickshaw pen sleeve, so the matching ink-a-pet is the Hawaii state fish: reef triggerfish aka humuhumunukunukukuapua’a!
I think a a crab would be perfect as the claws could hold all kinds of cool accessories.
