Giveaway: BENU Fountain Pens

Ana and I reviewed the BENU Fountain Pens last fall.  Today we have a chance for three lucky winners to take home a BENU of their own.

From top to bottom the pens available are: the Bird of Paradise from the Essence collection ($200, B nib),  Nebula from the Supreme Collection ($200, F nib) and Sublime 025 from the Supreme Collection ($185, F nib).

These pens have all the sparkle and shine you could want in their aventurescent resin with rhodium and gold plated brass trims.  They are lightweight, and have standard Schmidt nibs.

Some of the pens above have been inked up and tested for review, but all pens are in like new condition and will be delivered to you clean and ready to fill with your favorite inks!

TO ENTER: Tell us which BENU fountain pen makes your heart sing?  Please include which of the BENU models shown above you’d like to win. Only one of each model is available so in drawing a winner, we will select the first name and they will win the pen they have chosen. The second name selected will win the pen they have chosen, assuming it is not the same model selected by winner #1. If they picked the same model, we will select another name until we have selected someone who has chosen a different pen… and so on, until we have given away all three pens. Make sense?

FINE PRINT: All entries must be submitted by 10pm CST on Friday, April 13 , 2018. All entries must be submitted at wellappointeddesk.com, not Twitter, Tumblr or Facebook, okay? Winner will be announced on Monday, April 16. Winner will be selected by random number generator from entries that played by the rules (see above). Please include your actual email address in the comment form so that I can contact you if you win. I will not save email addresses or sell them to anyone — pinky swear – just email you if you win. If winner does not respond within 7 days, I will draw a new giveaway winner. Shipping via USPS first class. Additional shipping options or insurance will have to be paid by the winner.   19. They ALL make my heart sing! However, if I had to chose one it would be the Nebula. The Bird of Paradise is a close second but I like the clip on the Nebula pen.

  75. I have loved the Benu Pens since I first heard about them several years ago. They seem so different from many of the smaller handmade company pens. And their COLORS…WOW!!!

    I really love the Nebula from the Supreme Collection! The off-set burst of color on the barrel is simply stunning and I much prefer the flat top designs.

    Hopefully I will be lucky enought to have my number pulled!!!

  83. These are great pens, which makes it hard to decide. However, being the person who loves blue, I’m most inclined towards the Sublime.

  85. The Sublime 025 would be my choice! I paint with watercolor for children’s book illustration and this pen reminds me of galaxies I’ve painted for one of the series. Love it!

  126. I actually love the nebula! I went to look at the others on their website, because the rules didn’t specify that our favorite had to come from these three, but after looking around, I think the nebula is my favorite!

  128. For me, it’s definitely the Nebula – a beautiful pen that sings a haunting song to my lifelong astronomy hobby.

  189. Gosh, this was such a difficult decision, but I finally narrowed it down to the one pen that makes me smile with thoughts of such smooth sounding songs! I look at that BENU Fountain Pen, by the name of; The Bird of Paradise from the Essence Collection, with the Bold Nib. And all I hear is my Heart Singing when I see all those beautiful colors on that pen, along with the pen’s design, so different from the other two pen’s.

  241. Oh boy this is a tough one. I like the Birds of Paradise resin the best, but not so much the shape or large step. Therefore, I’ll have to go with the Nebula. (Also space-themed, that’s always a huge plus.)

This would make an amazing “starter” pen as I just recently became interested after stumbling across your post on tips for lefties using fountain pens!

  253. The BENU pen that makes my heart sing and the one I would like to win is – Nebula from the Supreme Collection. I love everything related to space and love fountain pens. The shape of the pen is very unique, looking at it is like peeking into some far away galaxy.

    I have really liked the vibrancy of the Benu pens every since I saw the very first review of this Russian company and their products. They are so pretty! But the one that really speaks to me is the Nebula from the Supreme Collection because of the flat ends and the fact that the shimmery portion is off-centered along the barrel instead of at one end of it.

    I really hope you pull my number because my pen buying budget has shrunk!! I think I got this posted correctly now!!

  265. The Bird of Paradise pen looks amazing! My daughter, who is becoming a bit of a marker fiend after my husband lent her his Copics, just finished painting a pair of white canvas sneakers in just those colors – so pretty like a peacock!
