Giveaway: A Year of Sun Undated Weekly Planner

The Octaveo “A Year of Sun” undated weekly planner ($44.95 AUD)  is a brilliantly sunny yellow, A5 planner with a flexible cover, hand painted yellow page edges and ultramarine blue accents. If anything would make you feel uplifted about planning for the future, it would be this planner.

Made in Barcelona and inspired by the Mediterranean, I think the Octaveo might make everyday feel like a vacation.

The end pages are a gradient blue with a small quote on the back page and a place to write your personal information in the front. The ribbon bookmark coordinates and is finished to prevent fraying.

The inside spreads of the lay-flat binding feature vertical weekly planning with cyan accents and 55 weeks of planning pages.  At the top of each page, you can circle the month, write in the date of the week and off you go! So you can start this planner next week! No need to wait until 2018. Your year of sun can start right away!

In the back of the book are travel planning pages as well as lined pages for notes and other info pages like a world map with time zones and such.  The paper quality seems  decent but I didn’t want to blemish the book as it was too pretty and I wanted someone to give it away unsullied.

Why should it be unsullied? Because I’d like to give this beautiful planner away! I get so many wonderful, lovely things I wanted to share the wealth.

  1. Great review! That is a gorgeous book that I had never seen before. I enjoy the sun anytime and anyplace! The coast of Eastern Florida is a favorite of mine. And the Florida Keys. I wish quick repair and recovery for them! Thanks for the chance to win!

  2. In 2018, I would love. To enjoy the sun in Central Park, where there is a. Gazebo in the centre surrounded by a mini botanical garden. All that’s missing is the waterfall and Japanese garden. Central Park is located near downtown Des Plaines. There or another Des Plaines park, Pottawatomie. The latter is mostly a field of gold with little place to sit.

  17. Very nice review. And what a lovely planner. In 2018, I am eager to enjoy the sun sailing through the San Juan Islands in the Pacific northwest. Our sailboat repairs will soon be complete and we hope to enjoy the outdoors, the sun, the clouds and all the beautifulness this place has to offer.

  22. What a beautiful notebook! I favorite place to enjoy sunshine is in the backyard of the house I grew up in, which was bought by my aunt and uncle to keep it in the family when my Grandma got sick. The backyard is enormous and there’s flowers and trees and all kinds of growing things, surrounding a huge pond that has two waterfalls and stocked with huge koi fish.

  24. My favorite sun-soaking location is along the shores of Lake Superior in Northern Michigan. The water is frigid, but when the sun is out, swimming is almost tolerable!

  32. Unfortunately I have some major sun sensitivities, for both my skin and eyes, so I have to avoid my beautiful, hot, Texas sun! Instead I try get my “sunshine” from gorgeous accessories in fabulous cheerful colours to brighten my day…those I get wherever I can find them!     I currently like to enjoy the sun sitting at the lakefront of Lake Pontchartrain. Best spot for me to just relax and reflect while in nature around here.

  37. My favorite place to enjoy the sun is here at home — in the Pacific Northwest, a sunny day is a rare and glorious event.

    This is an interesting looking planner and I’d like to give that paper a whirl with some fountain pen ink.

  40. Oh, that’s a gorgeous book. In 2018 I will be enjoying the sun in Starved Rock State Park in Illinois, Central Park in New York, and at an undisclosed (blessedly internet-free) cabin in northern Wisconsin. (Although right now I’d like to appreciate a little less sun. 90 degrees in late September is just too much.)

  46. My favorite place to enjoy the sun is Kenya because of the amazing sunsets. However, this year our family desires to spend time enjoying the sun at Punta del Este (Uruguay).

  84. I love the patterns the sun makes shining through the stained glass windows of St. John’s Catholic Church (built in 1855!) in Bangor Maine.

  91. The easy location to enjoy the sun is on the back patio with the dogs and freshly brewed iced tea. I would really rather enjoy the sun on the beach in Grand Cayman sipping something fruity with coconut milk.
