Romain asks:
I am desperately looking for a large notebook (A5-A4) with 4mm squared paper; do you have any advice for me?
This took some hunting and I could only find one printed option that featured the coveted 4mm grid paper It’s the Miquelrius leather-look journals. They are available in 100-, 200-, and 300-sheet books with black, blue or red covers for $9.99 to $14.99. The paper quality is decent. I used a Miquelrius book for ink testing for some time early in my blog career before switching to Rhodia paper which is a bit more hardy.

There are more images of the whole Miquelrius Grid journal I used available on Flickr.
Another option for grid paper would be to print your own paper. Paper Snake offers printable graph in a variety of quadrille and graph paper sizes in metric and imperial sizes including 4mm.
Zequenz 360 journals also have 4mm grid in several sizes… please excuse the comment if these are the same as the Miquelrius journals referenced above.
Hobonichi makes a 24 page memo book to go with their Cousin planner that is A5 size and has a 3.7 mm grid. It is super thin due to the Tomoe River paper. They don’t have any stock but it is something to keep in mind when you order your 2017 planner.
Fabriano has the Ecoqua collection with dots at 4mm.

It’s more a notepad than a notebook but the paper is superb.
Seconding everything Rafael said about Fabriano
I bought one of their notepads for cheap, and wasn’t sure what I was going to get. It’s awesome for fountain pens. (And cheap.) Alas, the sheets tear out easily, regardless of whether you want them to, so it may not be what you’re looking for.
Thank you! The company that made my go-to 4mm grid notebook seems to have vanished. Your website pointing me in the right direction.
