Han Solo! “Great kid, don’t get cocky!”
Of course my fave character from Star Wars is Han Solo! I would love to be entered in this drawing because I luuuuuuuuve orange. Thank you!
Darth Maul’s my favorite, but totally underserved/underused character. His appearance and exit in Episode I were great and terrible at the same time.
Wicket, ’cause he’s cute and fuzzy and cuddly!
While the slashfic writer in me adores the third prequel fight between Obi-wan and Anakin for obvious reasons, I have to say that any time Leia puts Han or Luke in their place or saves their hide gives me warm fuzzies.
Leia is wonderful. It left such an impression on me as a child to see how strong a character she was, even when under duress.
She had a job, gorammit, and she was going to see it done. No frills or lace for her. The fact that she wasn’t afraid to use her brain was and is awesome as well.
I’ve got to say my favorite character(s) were the Ewoks. Man, those little guys were awesome!
Han Solo!
Han Solo and Princess Leia’s bit of dialog (with Han Solo as my favorite character!) when he gets lowered into carbonite!
Princess Leia: “I love you…”
Han Solo: “I know…”
My wife recently watched the movies and when we’re talking star wars I totally call back to this every time!
Nobody enter! It’s a trap!!!
See what I did there?
Gotta love Yoda!
Does being a 32 year old working in the IT industry and not having seen Star Wars disqualify me? May 4 seems like as good a day as any to watch it for the first time, right? 🙂
“I love you”
“I know”
Han Solo of course…”Laugh it up, fuzzball!”
No dialogue from my favorite character, Chewbacca!
Awesome giveaway! I have my fingers crossed. 🙂
The lovable rogue, Han Solo
Awesome! my favorite character is Princess Leia. I have a few favorite lines: “I’d just as soon kiss a wookie” and then later: “I love you” – “I know”
My favorite has always been the dashing Hans Solo
I still love Darth Vader, and, as far as I am concerned, the prequels never happened. Vader isn’t a whiny kid or an angsty adult.
Han Solo is the man!
“Aren’t you a little short for a storm trooper?”
Would love to have this since I’m a UT Austin grad (burnt orange school colors!) so my favorite character from the Star Wars franchise would have to be Boba Fett ’cause his background and fan-presence is utterly fascinating.
“Do or do not. There is no try.” – Yoda
My favorite character has to be Han Solo. His snarky wit makes the movies.
Favorite character: Han Solo
Favorite dialogue: “Who’s scruffy lookin’?”
Favorite action scene: The skiff fight in the beginning of Return of the Jedi
I enjoy imitating Jabba the Hut’s voice…
I gotta go with Darth Vader. Meaning “tower of seething menace” Vader, NOT precocious kid or pouty 20-something pre-Vader.
Jar Jar Binks of course 😉 Love the orange!
Best line ever – “Luke, I am your father”. Totally devastating.
I’m kinda lame and love R2D2! I just love it when he screams haha. My favorite scene is probably when Yoda was first introduced…
C-3P0 is mine. >>>
C-3P0: I do believe they think I am some kind of god.
Han Solo: Well, why don’t you use your divine influence and get us out of this?
C-3P0: I beg your pardon General Solo, but that just wouldn’t be proper.
Han Solo: Proper?
C-3P0: It’s against my programming to impersonate a deity.
Favorite sith lord has to be Darth Maul. He was the only good thing about the prequels simply because of his creepy, intimidating, evil, awesomeness. They could’ve done so much more with his character.
Thanks for the giveaway!
My favorite character is Han Solo, favorite dialog is when he asks Leia “Who are you calling scruffy looking?!” in The Empire Strikes Back.
Favorite action sequence is when Han saves Luke’s backside in his trench run on the first Death Star!
Yoda. Love the scene where Luke first meets him and thinks he is some oddball as he ransacked Luke’s pack
Favorite scene (besides all the action in general) would have to be the scene with Ben, Yoda, and Anakin all together. (But NOT the modified one! I choose to believe that doesn’t actually exist.)
R2-D2 is the best. Most unsung hero of the series.
My fav charachter is yoda
Yoda!
Darth Sidious: “Wipe them out… all of them.” Can’t beat it.
Leia: “I love you!” Han: “I know.”
“Punch it, Chewie.”
Yoda.
Without question, Han Solo!
“Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid.”
My favorite is definitely Yoda. Do or do not. There is no try.
My favorite character is Yoda! A couple of favorite quotes: “Judge me by my size, do you?” and the ever famous “Do. Or do not. There is no try.” Happy May 4th!
Q: What do you call a Jedi who loves tacos?
A: Obi-Juan Kenobi
Boba Fett is my favorite character, of course, because the action figure was so hard to get when I was a kid.
“Do or do not, there is no try!” Often quoted by some very cool teachers, hahah.
“It’s a trap!” Most applicable quote to everything in life.
Yoda shows the way.
Han Solo, obviously.
Obi-wan.
Han Solo is my favorite character.
My favorite was Qui-Gon and I really hate that he had such a small role in the series. *sigh*
I have to pick R2-D2 as my favorite since my daughter loves him.
“Of course you must do what you think is right.” Is my favorite way to politely say something is a stupid idea. Obi-wan rules.
gotta love Chewbacca
Boba Fett is my favorite!
“Admiral Ozzel, you have failed me for the last time.”
My favorite line is the oft repeated “I have a bad feeling about this”
Win, or win not. There is no try. 😉 Something like that anyway.
Do or do not, there is no try
Obi wan
My favorite I would watch over & over is the bar scene, the music is great and their boldness makes you feel good.
Anakin/Darth Vader best little kid to win the race and how he just got through being stuck where everyone was fighting basically defenseless and making a diversion by mistake. one of my favorite scenes. character who turns evil best thing ever in these movies. Thank you sssooo much for this giveaway, i really would love this pen!!!!!
Darth Vader, because he has the most complete story arc of all the characters in eps 1 through 6 (from child to adult and from good to evil and back to good).
Return of the Jedi quote… “It is too late for me, son.”
This is not the droid you are looking for… but this is definitely a pen I would love to own.
These are not the droids you’re looking for…..
I just love Luke and always have–
Always a fan of Luke Skywalker…his struggle to contain the darkness within is the best piece of the story…hoping the next trilogy expands upon that…
I’ve always loved the ewok settlement on Endor. Favorite scene: Leia stopping the ewoks from roasting Luke and Han.
Thanks for the chance to win this awesome pen!
gotta love those ewoks.
R2-D2 is my favorite character.
Han Solo.
Favorite quote, anytime anyone says, “I have a bad feeling about.”
C-3PO: “He made a fair move. Screaming about it can’t help you.”Han Solo: “Let him have it. It’s not wise to upset a Wookiee.”C-3PO: “But, sir, nobody worries about upsetting a droid.”Han Solo: “That’s cause a droid don’t pull people’s arms out of their sockets when they lose. Wookiees are known to do that.”[Chewbacca growls]
C-3PO: “I see your point, sir. I suggest a new strategy, Artoo: let the Wookiee win.”
I love the ewoks. 🙂
Im still laughing at the jar jar binks comment. love Han Solo’s, “Your heiness” retorts back at leia.
Would love to win!
For years my fav has been the Jedi Mind Trick:
“These aren’t the droids you’re looking for”
“Never tell me the odds.” It’s even kinda fitting for a giveaway 😛
Han Solo- pretty much anything he said- but right now its the last line from the new movie preview-“Chewie, We’re home!”
Chewey!!!! Because my dog talks/mouths sounds like him!
There’s something about the title screen and the theme song that just lets me know I’m in for an adventure. I got that feeling with the original 3 and the new trailers.
R2D2 is pretty great.
“I love you”….
“I know.”
“GONK”
-Gonk
Yoda (The Empire Strikes Back): “Do. Or do not. There is no try.”
Lando! I’m still sad we won’t see him in The Force Awakens. THAT WE KNOW OF…
I adore Porkins. And the Banthas. Can’t help it. Oh and I only acknowledge the original three films. The others don’t exist to me. ^_^
I loved their home under the sand. I particularly liked the scene around the dinner table where they’re drinking blue stuff. I wanted to know what it tasted like.
“Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.”– Jedi Grand Master Yoda
“Just fly casual.”
What a great scene! Han has got to be my favorite character!
I’ve always been a fan of the cantina scene.
It’s a trap!
Luke Skywalker, of course…
Han Solo, R2, let the Wookie win.
Do or don’t do there is no try
would love to win
Can’t go wrong with Darth Vader and his legendary “Luke, I am your father” line. Also, I like black, so, you know.
Chewie!
“Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi. You’re my only hope.”
R2D2!
Han Solo: “Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid.”
Han Solo is the best.
Boba Fett was always my favorite. He kicked all sorts of ass. And he totally survived the sarlacc.
“Laugh it up, Furball.”
“In a dark place we find ourselves… and a little more knowledge might light our way.”
~Yoda
Yoga. The near-eternal wealth of knowledge and patience. “Blog well, you do.”
Boba Fett and the bounty hunters standing on the bridge of the Star Destroyer is one of the coolest scenes to me: The sterile Empire rubbing elbows with the gritty mercenaries.
The best scene for dialog was actually one that was cut — the interchange between Luke and Biggs Darklighter outside Tosch station.
It’s a Trap!
Ewoks. 😀
Seeing the opening scene of the first Star Wars movie where they panned over the ship — I was breathless and so impressed with the detail!
Definite favorite is Darth Vader from the original trilogy.
R2d2 is my hubs favorite. He has a small collection
How can you not love Chewie? The most faithful and protective of companions. Not the brightest bulb in the box, but a heart of absolute gold. Also:
C-3PO: But sir. Nobody worries about upsetting a droid.
Han: That’s cause a droid don’t pull people’s arms out of their sockets when they lose. Wookiees are known to do that.
C-3PO: I see your point, sir. I suggest a new strategy, R2: Let the Wookiee win.
Chewie: (folds arms behind his head and smiles like a boss)
These aren’t the droids we’re looking for. Move along
Princess Lea
Yoda- when 900 years you reach, look as good you will not.
“Who’s scruffy looking?” – Han Solo
Princess Leia and her plaits! “You have your moments. Not many of them, but you do have them”
Gotta be Han Solo!
My favorite is when we see Vader is not afraid to throw the smack down on his own officers, just for annoying him: “Don’t try to frighten us with your sorcerer’s ways, Lord Vader. Your sad devotion to that ancient religion has not helped you conjure up the stolen data tapes or given you clairvoyance enough to find the Rebels’ hidden fort-Ack! Choke! Gasp! *dies*”
“Will someone get this big walking carpet out of my way?” I thought that was hilarious when I was 5.
I was going to say, “Who’s scruffy lookin’?”, but now I will go with Yoda fighhting Count Dooku.
I always thought Darth Maul was held back from his full potential. Was also glad to see Kenobi outduel Anakin.
Oh, I’m afraid the deflector shield will be quite operational when your friends arrive. haha, love that line!
Of course, my favorite character is Boba Fett.
Hopefully I would like this better than sand which is coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere. You do *not* want sand all up in your midichlorians.
Princess Leia: “I love you”
Han Solo: “I know.”
Classic!
Chewbacca, for putting up with Solo.
I always liked Captain/Admiral Piett, because he really seemed to have one of the most stressful working environments ever!
As for dialogue, most likely an insult that Leia directed at Han – though my favourite is likely “Will someone get this walking carpet out of my way!”
Does it count if the dialogue is from “Phineas and Ferb: Star Wars”? If so:
Pilot Isabella: Hey farmer boy. We aren’t related are, we?
Phineas: Oh, no. I just had the one sister.
Pilot Isabella: Good *kisses him passionately*
If not,
Darth Vader: No, Luke. I AM your father.
I love the droids! Favorite quote by C3P-O: I see your point, sir. I suggest a new strategy, R2: let the Wookie win.
Do or do not, there is no try.
“It’s a trap!”
“Aren’t you a little short for a stormtrooper?”
“I love you.”
“I know”
So many to choose from!
Chewbacca. Nothing like a walking rug that can play galactic chess.
Obi-Wan Kenobi. Alec Guinness was one cool customer.
Han Solo, of course!
Do or not do. There is no try.
Yoda
Han Solo. He shot first, he got into the thick of the fire (even if it meant turning into a statue for a season), and got the girl, all while flying the coolest spaceship in the galaxy.
My favorite Star Wars scenes, hands down, are every time that Yoda chuckles.
Yoda – “Do or do not, there is no try.”
I don’t care what you smell get in there
I’m going to go with Ben Burtt’s sounds and especially those for R2-D2.
Yoda is top-notch. It’s my Starbucks name.
..and I thought they smelled bad on the outside. Boba Fett is my favorite!
I am on Massdrop. Keep the pens and inks coming. Thanks for the chance.
Yikes! Too many windows open, sorry. I meant to say “that’s not the giveaway you are looking for.”
“Great, kid. Don’t get cocky.” -Han Solo
This is the pen I’m looking for.
Princes Leia has always been my favorite character because of her strong resolve and indomitable nature even in the hands of the enemy.
“I’d rather kiss a wookiee!”
Boba Fett – best original action figure and toy!
“Into the garbage chute, flyboy!”
“Who’s scruffy looking?” – Han Solo
Yoda – only do, there is no try.
Amidala – She did kind of become an object in the third movie, but I like how she’s a powerful woman and lived up to her position. Leia would be a close second!
Wedge Antilles! The only pilot to survive BOTH Death Star runs, I’m standing by the Rouge Squadron leader.
Luke says: “I’m not afraid”, to which Yoda responds with “You will be. You *will* be.” He gets the creepiest look on his face.
Do X-Wings count as characters?
Despite his whining I’ve always liked Luke, but really it has to go to Wedge Antilles, hero of the Rebellion. Luke had the force to make him a great pilot, Wedge had skill.
Yoda “do….or do not there is no try”
I was always partial to the Ewoks when I was a kid. Now I am a grown up I think the line, “Your eyes can deceive you, don’t trust them” is pretty great.
The ewoks are the best!
Darth Maul, the mysterious demonic looking villain, was the most exciting character. The fight scenes between him and Qui-Gon Jinn was epic.
General Grievous is a cool character. He is on the dark side and I think he is a better Luke Skywalker than the original.
I have fond memories of watching the fight scene with Liam Neeson at the end of the Phantom Menace, not as a beautiful or moving scene, but because I can’t help but giggle remembering my four year old sister yelling something like “he’s toast” in the theater at the scene’s conclusion.
Man, I just watched my first Star Wars movie yesterday! I fell in love with Leia – she’s strong and resolute and independent and beautiful. I’d love to be her.
It’s a trap!
Yoda, I like.
“When 900 years old you reach, look as good, you will not.”
“Wars not make one great.”
May the 4th be with you….
Love the “Do or do not, there is no try.” quote. Yoda rocks!
“Luke: Your overconfidence is your weakness.
The Emperor: Your faith in your friends is yours.”
My favourite is R2D2, but I really don’t know how to write its quotes 😀
I guess one of my favorite is “These aren’t the droids you’re looking for…”
“Too old to begin training the boy is.”- Yoda and “We recognize your place upon the council but you do not grant you master title. “Mace Windoo
Anaken Skywalker
Obewan, go help your girlfriend!
Forgive me if I mis-quote here, “beep boop beep beep boop?” Which is R2D2 of course.
I have to say my favorite character was Luke. I was 10 when Star Wars came out (not Episode IV, not “A New Hope,” STAR WARS) so I most closely identified with the “kid” hero. The character I loved to quote though was Darth Vader (or, oddly enough, Princess Leia).
“I’m a member of the Imperial Senate on a diplomatic mission to Alderaan”
“You are part of the Rebel Alliance and a traitor. Take her away!”
It’s got to be Boba Fett, because really, jet-packs.
Well, Han Solo is the obvious choice but I’m gonna go with Admiral Akbar: “It’s a trap!”
There is no try. Only do.
i like Chewy. my favorite line of his is “AAAAAHHHHEEEHHHHAAAAHHHHH”
“I love you”
“I know”
I was a Luke fan, but mostly the confident bad-ass Luke from Return of the Jedi
I’m a big Lando fan. Who else has as rockin’ a pad in Cloud City?
“I sense great fear in you, Skywalker. You have hate… you have anger… but you don’t use them.”
And my favourite character would have to be C3PO!!
From Yoda: “You will know… when you are calm, at peace, passive” Thank you for the giveaway-I will try to be . . . calm, at peace, passive . . .as I await your announcement as to the winner.
Beep, zing, whirl, pop, er er er, blop.
Cindy above already took mine but “I love you” “I know” made me love Han Solo forever and probably has a lot to do with my taste in men.
C3PO, love the brit butler thing.
And yes, there is no try.
Sweet! I loved Star Wars when I was a kid. I never really got into the prequels, probably because of the aforementioned Jar Jar Binks being so annoying. It’s been so long since I saw the original trilogy that I can’t remember what my favorite part was! But I always loved the interactions between C3PO and R2D2.
“Do or do not, there is no try.” quote. Yoda is my hero!
My favorite character from Episodes 1-3 HAS to be…
Queen Amidala’s Hair.
I really like Yoda. I haven’t watched the movies in a long long while, I think I need to spend a weekend reviewing…
Almost everything that comes out of C3P0’s mouth is golden, if you’ll pardon the pun. Fatalistic droids are my favorite.
But the all-time best line? Has to go to Darth Vader:
“I find your lack of faith…disturbing.”
I’m partial to the ewoks, mostly because of childhood reasons. And the “Do or do not, there is no try.” quote is pretty cool too.
Now I feel like rewatching the Star Wars movies…
I always liked Boba Fett as a kid (yea, fell for the whole jet pack thing). In the end, I am sticking with the original films.
Of course this:
– I love you
– I know
“These aren’t the droids you’re looking for.” Obi-Wan was awesome! But then again, so were R2D2, C3PO, Luke, Leia, Hans, Chewbacca and the rest!
“I love you”
“I know”
Han & Leia at their best.
Thanks for the chance!
It were all stars that they have to conquer. And they go on, on their way to the Al-Star
“I am your father…” – Darth Vader to Luke Skywalker, and/or Zurg to Buzz Lightyear…
Darth Vader: “The Emperor is not as forgiving as I am.”
Oh, my gosh! Luke Skywalker, of course. I was a seventh grade girl in ’77 when the movie came out. My friends all loved Han, but I loved Luke.
“Sir, if I may venture an opinion…”
C-3PO is the best!
Darth Vader. Cool voice. Cool black outfit. Powers. Best movie villain ever.
I find your lack of faith disturbing.
Han solo! slickest man of the movies.
“Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid.”
Um, I kinda identify with CPO and his anxieties….
Your powers are weak, old man.
You can’t win, Darth. If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you could possibly imagine.
For the give away, I thank you sir.
My favorite Star Wars character would have to be Darth Maul, because DOUBLE LIGHTSABERS ARE AWESEOME!!!
I have a weakness for X-Wing pilots. Wedge Antilles has always been my favorite character. 😀
Favorite character is definitely Han Solo. Every time I see Harrison Ford in a movie I always think “hey cool they got Han Solo for this movie”…
Yoda, I love yoda “do, or do not there is no try”
Hans Solo is my favorite! Nobody ever rocked a vest like him!
I love R2 in Return of the Jedi. He’s just feisty. I love the scene on the barge where he pushes C-3PO off into the sand and then calmly and nonchalantly rolls right off after him. No explanation, just does what he’s gonna do.
The quintessential line of the entire saga: “Luke, I am your father.”
R2D2! So underrated.
I always loved that weird little muppet that hangs with Jabba the Hutt.
Harrison Ford. I like the everyman aspect of his character( ok in most of his parts) It adds a dash of pseudo reality.
“There is another.”
Han Solo forever.
Ewoks. Forever. I definitely had a VHS of the Ewok animated show.
Boba Fett? Boba Fett, where?
“Who’s scruffy lookin’?”
I am such a huge fan of R2-D2’s sass. If that droid could speak English, the saga would have a much higher maturity rating, I’m sure!
Rescuing Han Solo from the carbonite coffin:
Han Solo: “who are you?”
Princess Leia: “Someone who loves you”
Here we go again…
The Millenium Falcon. It counts, doesn’t it? It has a hell of a presence and a fantastic design.
Poor Dak, he should have said “I got bad feeling about this…” instead of “I feel I could take on the whole Empire myself!”
Of course, look who’s talking…Vader nailed me in the Death Star trench. How did Wedge make it outta there? I was a much better pilot.
Yoda ftw!
“I love you”
“I know”
Lando Calrissian FTW!
Mon Mothma of course. She sent all those Bothan spies to their deaths but man was it worth it.
“It’s a trap!” -from everyone’s favorite admiral.
After having just rewatched A New Hope on VHS (original version) – Han getting frustrated trying to keep guards out of the prison section, shooting the intercom, and dismissing it as a “boring conversation anyway.”
I find your lack of faith disturbing – Darth Vader
Porkins. That is all.
Grand Admiral Thrawn..oh wait that’s from the books. Darth Vader.
Han Solo. Who doesn’t love a scoundrel?
Don’t get cocky, kid!
Favorite character? R2D2. Favorite action sequence? Saving Princess Leia.
May the force be with me!
Yoda ftw !!!!
The Force is strong with this one. – Darth Vader
Darth Vader is the one. Period
Yoda- when 900 years you reach, look as good you will not.
You have failed me for the last time, Admiral. – Darth Vader, one of the greatest villains of all time
Ewoks. I love me some ewoks
Star Wars was the first film I saw at the cinema. At the time my parents still had a black and white TV so seeing the start destroyer chasing the rebel corvette slowly enter and fill the screen blew my 5 year old mind!
I find your lack of faith disturbing
“I love you” Princess Leia
“I know” Han Solo
Darth Vader. There’s something awesome about such a tragic character.
Boop boop beep boop. Waa waa.
Favorite dialogue bit? Definitely “That’s no moon. It’s a space station.” 😀
Greedo shooting first.
Master Yoda, because syntax.
When I think of Star Wars my first image is of Princess Leia and those wild side buns in her hair.
Ooh, definitely Obi Wan. I always have a soft spot for the mentor-types.
“Why you stuck up, half-witted, scruffy-looking…..nerf herder!!”
“Who’s scruffy-looking?”
Yoda! ‘Fear is the path to the dark side…fear leads to anger…anger leads to hate…hate leads to suffering.” The Phantom Menace
Luke Skywalker: “But I was going into Tosche Station to pick up some power converters!”
“Do or not do, there is no try.” Yoda
The wild thing about Star Wars is there’s no “best part”… the actors, the dialogue, and the intense cinematic experience was an amazing accomplishment when these films hit the theaters and has endured to this day. It’s all incredibly moving, and I hope my kids will enjoy it too. If I could Jedi Mind Trick a win for this contest I would, AWESOME PEN, good luck to everyone…
I’m old school – Han Solo is my favorite!
Lando, of course! Who doesn’t like a good smuggler?
Han Solo/ Chewy pair!
“These are not the droids you are looking for…”
Got to go with Harrison Han Solo…. Just the perfect carrier of a fountain pen.
Do or do not, there is no try – Yoda
“Luke, I am your Father.” I have a TREMENDOUS video of my daughter saying this at age 2. Priceless!
“These are not the droids you are looking for.”
Easy… Admiral Ackbar. “It’s a trap!”
Jar-Jar Binks, just because no one else likes him
I have to agree with carol Anne, the whole thing is great, but I do love the garbage disposal scene because it grosses me out every time!
Oh, how sad, i just realized I’m too late. Apologies to Carol Anne for mistakenly not capitalizing your name the first time. Good luck to you all!
