Sugru is a fascinating and useful substance and I appreciate your giving it some attention. Background on the inventor and her company is interesting, too. I have been using it to fill in the grooves on my Lamy Vista pens (got this idea off some website) – grooves which are useless to me as a left-hander – and it is working well – still doing some tweaking, but I think it will make the grip more comfortable.
Great tip about using Sugru to fill the grooves on a Lamy. As a lefty too, I just stopped buying Safaris and the like because the grooves were annoying but using Sugru would definitely improve the experience.
Off topic but I think you’d really enjoy reading this book review; http://www.nybooks.com/articles/archives/2014/sep/25/deep-green/
LOL. You are the SECOND person to recommend this book to me. I will definitely be ordering it!
I’ve certainly bought a lot of things you’ve recommended so it seems only fair!
