Myke stole my wish list item! That’s right. You’ll have to listen to this week’s Pen Addict Podcast #81 to get the details and hear me ramble on endlessly and see, what has to be, the longest link list in the history of the podcast.
Enjoy!

Hey, Ana,
You just killed it again on the Podcast. It was refreshing to hear your voice, and I needed refreshment that day; I’d just wrecked (I think) my beloved TWSBI 540 trying to get it to suck up more ink. Oh, well, that’s life in the pen lane. Hey, how about joining my campaign to promote the Pilot Metropolitan? (Just kidding, but the new purple and white versions are lovely!) To me, the Metropolitan is far and away the best fountain pen under $50–which, for most of us, remains a sort of fuzzy upper limit for pen purchases. It seems you’ve even got the Pen Addict guys on board with the Metropolitan: no small feat, considering their obsession of late with Pelikans and Edisons. Keep up the great work. Some of us are listening.
Thanks for the praise. I do like the Metropolitan and its foreign cousin the Cocoon (F nib!). I shall continue to seek out those entry price point fountain pens but I am getting an itch for a Pelikan. I blame Brad.
