By now, I’m sure you realize I have a thing for green. And the fact that this year’s Color of the Year according to Pantone is emerald green is a very happy thing for me. So when I spied the Uni-Ball Signo DX in Emerald, I had to give it a try.
The emerald Uni-Ball Signo DX 0.38 is available from JetPens for $2.50 along with over a dozen other colors and in 0.28mm and 0.5mm as well.
What do you think? Is this THE pen of the year? I certainly think it should be in the running!
I don’t know about THE pen of the year, but I do like it. It looks more jade than emerald to me.
Where did you get that ring?
The ring was a gift from my husband for Valentine’s Day. The creator was selling them on Etsy until Pantone sent her a cease-and-desist order. It is a Pantone chip, cast in resin. Maybe you can create your own?
I have this pen in 0.28mm and it’s one of my favourites. I wasn’t expecting to like the colour as much as I do. It’s a bright shade that is still dark enough to read easily, even with that fine of a line. It certainly does look like a good match for the Pantone colour.
I really love this green, it’s vibrant and readible. I’ve been using mine for months. My perfect shade of green comes in a pen I just don’t like to use, Papermate Flair, because it’s felt-tip and too wide a point, but it’s the perfect green!
I like your pictures here 🙂 I don’t have this particular pen but I like these pens in general. I think now I’ll have to get this color though. You know… for research purposes…
I love that ring! I tend to shy away from colored inks (bad experiences with budget gel pens) but this ink is so pretty,
Couldn’t you get nail varnish to match? 😉
Worried I would have been a touch too matchy-matchy. Too much?
